Still not sure?
How to measure your dog for a perfect fit.
1
Measure length
With your dog lying down in their natural sleep position, measure nose to base of tail. This is your primary measurement.
2
Measure width
Measure shoulder to shoulder at the widest point when lying down. Compare to mat width (both sizes are 21" wide).
3
Add 4–6 inches
Dogs shift and sprawl during sleep. Add 4–6" to your length measurement to ensure full comfort coverage.
4
Check sleep style
Curlers who sleep tight can go down a size. Dogs who sprawl fully should size up — more surface means more cooling coverage.
Not sure between sizes? Go large. More mat surface means more active cooling coverage — and dogs instinctively shift to the coolest part of the mat. A slightly oversized mat is always better than one your dog hangs off the edge of.
